Overall it was very good, I would definitely recommend it, it just doesn’t get the perfect score that their other restaurants get because of those two things. It was in no way bad, it was just not special. The flavor was predictable (unlike everything else we’ve tried in all their restaurants) and was easily the worst plate we’ve had in any Enrique Olvera restaurant. I wish he would’ve described it that way as we would’ve never order this as we are not big fans and I don’t think it’s remotely close to what they want to sell here. It was a Mariscada with rice, in other words: a Paella. It was so hyped up that we decided to give it a try. My biggest problem was with our main course which was something out of menu that was highly recommended by the waiter. We also had several salads and ceviche’s that were from very good to outstanding. The Scallop Sashimi was amazing as well as the Tuna a O Toro, the problem was that they don’t seem to flow together. I felt some of the plates were kind of out of place. With an intriguing double meaning, the manta ray. They have a mixture of Peruvian, Baja and Japanese fusion which tastes as interesting as it sounds. By Renowned Mexican Chef, Enrique Olvera, Manta is the culinary centerpiece of The Cape, A Thompson Hotel. I would’ve loved to see a little stricter dress code but I guess this is the kind of client they want to attract. Unlike Cosme and Pujol, Mantra seems to cater to a more casual crowd and dress code even though the place is extremely nice. Manta is their pacific coast style cuisine and since we grew up with that kind of food we were pretty excited about the place. We’re familiar with their excellent restaurants and style. Our top meal in Los Cabos was at Limon Restaurant at The Four Seasons Los Cabos, with Humo at Zadun and Manta tied for second place. The catch of the day was also good, while the fried chicken underwhelmed. We enjoyed our overall experience at Manta Restaurant, particularly the view from our table on the outside balcony and the sweet potato in mole sauce, which was fantastic. He was happy, but I couldn't help but think that it was a poor excuse for the mignardises or petits fours we've enjoyed in other restaurants. My husband got both of them, since I dislike dates. We didn't order dessert, but we were brought a couple of dates, one of them chocolate covered. The catch of the day, Totoaba, was well cooked and accompanied by shishito peppers topped with bonito, as well as guacamole. My husband's Fried Chicken with Aji Amarillo dish, on the other hand, could charitably be described as glorified chicken nuggets, and had the appearance of a kid's meal. It was accompanied by fresh tortillas and condiments, but the mole really needed no adornment. I'd come back mainly for that dish alone. It doesn't look like much in the photo, but that mole sauce was extraordinarily rich and flavorful. The highlight for us was the roasted sweet potato with almond mole. We had to wave a server over in order to get a QR code so as to look at the menu:Īs a starter we were brought puffy rice crackers along with salsa and a bit of seafood crudo, which was fine, although we preferred the homemade bread at Humo at Zadun. ![]() We requested an outdoor table on the balcony, which is also a good vantage point from which to view the sunset. If you are a fan of sake, their list is impressive and some of them are quite tasty. If you like wine be aware that the wine list is quite limited and features mostly French wines, overpriced in my estimation. A side dish of roasted wild mushrooms was also very good. It is filling so you may want to share it, and it is salty. The house salad and the kale salad were very good and the portions generous. We were a party of six, most of the orders consisted of sushi and rolls which. My suggestion is to try other items in the menu. The best performing funds in different time frames have been marked in the tables to help you zero in on the top schemes. You can invest in the equity fund of pension fund A, the gilt fund of pension fund B, and the corporate bond fund of pension fund C. From this year onwards, the Pension Fund Development and Regulatory Authority (PFRDA) has allowed investors to spread their investments across different fund managers. Investors are also allowed to switch their pension fund once in a year. Now, there are 10 pension fund managers to choose from. The choice of pension fund managers has also broadened. They can also change this asset mix up to four times a year. Investors can choose their asset mix by dividing the corpus among four different types of funds. This is only partially true because the NPS also offers a lot of flexibility. “I am better off investing in equity mutual funds, where I can earn higher returns and retain liquidity,” says Delhi-based Rishi Ahuja. The remaining 40% goes into an annuity to earn a monthly pension. Your money gets locked till you are 60, and even then only 60% of the corpus can be withdrawn. One of the reasons investors stay away from the National Pension System (NPS) is that it is very rigid. ![]() McClatchy to Sell the Akron Beacon Journal to Black Press Ltd."Baseball Hall of Fame: Former Beacon Journal writer Sheldon Ocker honored with J.G. ^ "Ocker to receive Hall of Fame's Spink Award".^ "Sheldon Ocker wins Hall of Fame's Spink Award".Akron announced its plans Monday for spring and summer 2022, including popular downtown events at Lock 3.
